When we come to Jesus, accept Him, and ask for salvation, we get saved! Salvation takes place in the Spirit.
The Bible says that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, and behold, all things become new. We come to Him—not only in sin—but we come to Him, having been ravaged by the problems of this world, and many times bringing a multitude of hurts. 
 
In Luke 4:18, Jesus is reading to the people from the Book of Isaiah, which foretold what He would be sent into the world to do: "to preach the gospel to the poor”  "to heal the broken-hearted”  "preach deliverance to the captives”  "recovery of sight to the blind”  "set at liberty, those who are oppressed”  "to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” 
 
In this series, Healing the Hurts, Pastor Darrell will show you how Jesus did indeed come to heal ALL the hurts from our lives and give us freedom like only He, as our deliverer, can!
