When Nicodemus came to Jesus by night—seeking how he could obtain this means of living forever—Jesus made a very bold statement that shocked Nicodemus:

        “Ye must be born again!”

Some people today are just as shocked as Nicodemus was that night. But, as Jesus explained, this “New Birth” is not one of flesh and bone, but of the Spirit.
